Abstract

Lunz uses many examples - from the international level to local grassroots movements - to make the complex and often abstract and elitist field of foreign policy accessible
In the theory and practice of international relations
the needs of women and minorities are constantly ignored. The world is full of wars, crises and injustice.
Kristina Lunz and her "Center for Feminist Foreign Policy" aim to change this. The political scientist, activist and entrepreneur thinks peace, human rights and justice together with foreign policy and wants to initiate a paradigm shift: She opposes the use of power and military muscle-flexing with mediation in peace negotiations, feminist power analyses and climate justice. Realpolitik is being exchanged for utopias, and there are just as many female ambassadors as male ambassadors. In this way, the antagonism between nations can finally be replaced and everyone will be able to live in greater security and with fewer conflicts.
