This paper entitled "Research in education: Digitization of education and training - opportunities and pitfalls" focuses on the complex changes brought about by digitization and the integration of digital technologies into educational processes and offers different reflections and views on this process, as it analyzes the multifaceted dimensions of this change and examines the complex network of policies that support it. It consists of two parts, each dedicated to an independent yet intertwined aspect of this digital transformation.
