ALF Hands-On training module 8: Gender Mainstreaming in Intercultural Management

September 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th, 10:00 - 12:00 CET

This participatory training course is a learning and community-building process for change-makers who aim to uplevel their commitments to gender equality by employing it not only as a goal but also as a tool throughout the management of projects' life cycles in the EuroMed region. It is an opportunity to network with Civil Society Organisations based in the Euro-Med region and to develop and become a partner in concrete proposals where gender mainstreaming is implemented as a tool to manage and follow up with proposals for EuroMed cooperation. Through this training, you will join a community where we will share and follow up with funding opportunities for the proposal you will lead or co-lead. The process consists of twelve hours divided into six stages and occurs online via Zoom and Slack platforms. The stages are built based on the pedagogy of experiential learning integrated into the liberative forms of education. We will start by unpacking gender and gender equality from an intercultural and decolonial lens and conclude by delivering concept notes of project proposals and deciding on following-up mechanisms.
