Galilee Dreamers, an active member of the Anna Lindh Foundation Israeli Network, fosters connections between students from Jewish and Arab schools in the Galilee. This program, run by Oranim International at Oranim College, brings together high school students, teachers, and teachers-in-training to promote a shared society. Students collaborate locally and travel abroad to embrace and exchange their cultures. Galilee Dreamers promotes hope, tolerance, and diversity appreciation, shaping a future where cultural differences are celebrated.

In March, Assif School in Misgav and Achava Comprehensive School in the Druze village of Yarka held a joint event with 40 students. Highlights included a tour of the Druze School, cultural insights from Druze students, heartfelt activities led by Principal Shafik Abed, and an amazing shared meal of local Druze cuisine. Playing sports together and celebrating a birthday further strengthened bonds.

Galilee Dreamers continue to foster cross-cultural exchanges, promoting inclusivity and equal rights. These initiatives combat prejudices, nurture global citizenship, and promote collaborative efforts for a shared society in the Galilee and beyond.

We continue to plant "seeds of hope" by fostering these valuable cross-cultural exchanges between Jewish and Arab students in the region. We commend the school principals and educational staff for their efforts in organizing these impactful meetings.
