Anna Lindh Foundation is Celebrating the Mediterranean at its Headquarters in Alexandria

We are celebrating the diversity and richness of the Mediterranean while strengthening ties between its two shores.

On the occasion of the #MediterraneanDay, the Anna Lindh Foundation organises a musical performance with Estabena; a multicultural group of artists who perform folk music compositions inspired by Mediterranean cultures. The musical project is formed by artists from different Mediterranean backgrounds and will perform a blend of songs from Egypt, Greece, Spain, Algeria, Palestine, France, Turkey and Morocco. (registration is required, limited places are available)

28 November 2022 at 8 PM local time - von Gerber house, Alexandria

Ahead of the celebration, the von Gerber house will host at its entrance from 28 November at 7 PM until 1st December the ‘Atlas of Mediterranean Liquidity Exhibition’ organised by Goethe-Institut in Alexandria. The exhibition will feature photos of Alexandria, ancient cisterns and illustrations of the Egyptian Artist Mai Koraiem who will guide you throughout the map in a graphic-novel-like sequence of events.
