The international alert to the public health risks caused by the spread of COVID-19 and the concern for the health and well-being of everyone has forced us to make the decision of postponing the EuroMed Forum 2020, which was planned from 3rd to 5th April 2020.
We are aware of the negative consequences, including those financial, that this decision may cause to some of the partners and participants. However our health and safety, and the safety of the numerous human lives of volunteers and service providers mobilized to make this event happen, are of our primary importance.
At Anna Lindh Foundation we have been closely monitoring the evolving situation, but in the view of the rapidly changing circumstances and the surrounding uncertainty created over the last few days, we are now convinced that this is the best decision to make.
This official communication also includes all the activities planned in the days before the Forum, including the Board of Governors’ meetings, the Advisory Board meeting, the Heads of Networks’ meeting and the Young Mediterranean Voices (YMV) ComLab event.
The Anna Lindh Foundation wishes to pay tribute to the work that has been accomplished by all of you until now and will continue to monitor the situation and to keep you informed on the forthcoming developments on the holding of the Forum and related planned activities.
We appreciate your understanding.
