The Anna Lindh Foundation would like to reaffirm its full commitment and support to all the citizens from the Euro-Mediterranean region, and the world at large, in these difficult times due to the pandemic of the COVID-19.
However, despite this unexpected and unprecedented situation we are facing, we are proud to reassert how deep our willingness to continue carrying out our missions is in order to fulfill the ALF’s mandate: supporting the cooperation and dialogue between cultures in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
In this respect and in full compliance with the international recommendations World Health Organization (WHO) and commitment to the health authorities in Egypt and in the Euro-Mediterranean countries, we try to contribute on a daily basis to fight against the spread of the Coronavirus. As one of the measures undertaken by the Secretariat, the ALF’s Staffs based in Alexandria has been working safely from home since Monday 16th of March and will continue working from home until 15th of April 2020.
Working from remote doesn’t mean working on his own! Indeed, regular Skype and Zoom meetings are organized amongst all the ALF’s teams and amongst the Secretariat Staffs. Be assured that the ALF’s Staffs stay connected and you can still reach us as we used to do.
