#ALFCitiesInDialogue - Our Planet, our responsibility
The project was organised by the Anna Lindh Foundation National Network member Moniheli ry (Finland) in the framework of the Anna Lindh Foundation Intercultural Cities Programme.
This project has planed to have three online events, starting with a webinar in English to include and engage the target group of different immigrant communities in the fight against climate change.
The event was followed by two other activities, one in Arabic with the emphasis on “Youth for climate change”, and one in Somali. The expert guest speakers for these events are all trained in the subject and they all have immigrant backgrounds themselves, so they are familiar with the audience’s baseline.
The need for these events has been noticed in previous interactions with member organisations since the knowledge related to the topic is not on the same level as it generally is in Finland.
The main objective is to encourage the participation of all groups and to add different voices to the conversation about sustainability and climate change.
Language of the session: English, Arabic, Somali
