The Third Intercultural Morning Coffee brought together a group of alumni of the Intercultural Trends and Media Platforms to discuss and reflect on issues relating to diversity in cities and the media's portrayals of cultural, religious and ethnic minorities.

The starting point of the meeting was on the one hand, an Atte Oksanen’s upcoming article for the Fourth Intercultural Trends, in which Oksanen addresses hate speech on social media, and on the other hand a recent statement, in which  Reporters Without Borders expressed concern over too little being done to eradicate hate speech and fake news from social media.
