Abstract

Human rights in Croatia: An Overview of the Situation for 2022, is the annual report of the House of Human Rights Zagreb, which provides insight into violations, problems and challenges in the area of protection and promotion of human rights in Croatia. The report was created on the basis of a systematic year-round monitoring and collection of information from relevant stakeholders from civil society and the academic community who deal with human rights and the media.

The research methodology used to produce the review of the state of human rights in Croatia is based on the Universal according to the human rights index of the United Nations. Index includes all relevant global norms and standards of the human rights protection system and is suitable for research in the national context.
