Alpaslan Ozerdam

Alpaslan Ozerdem is the Dean of the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University. Professor Özerdem specializes in the reintegration of former combatants and post-conflict state building. He has published extensively and amongst other, is (co-)author/editor of Post-war Recovery: Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration; Managing Emergencies and Crises; Peace in Turkey 2023: The Question of Human Security and Conflict Transformation; Child Soldiers; Youth in Conflict and Peacebuilding; Local Ownership in International Peacebuilding; Peacebuilding: An Introduction; Routledge Handbook of Turkish Politics and Comparing Peace Processes.
