Founder and Director of the Arab Women Media Centre (AWMC) in Amman, Jordan. al Emam is a media specialist and expert on women issues in the Middle East, with extensive experience as a journalist and chief editor working at various weekly newspapers. al Emam is also certified as an UNESCO media training consultant, chairman of the secretary council for Free Media Union, a free-lance writer and editor, and was among the first women to be elected to the JPU general assembly.
