General Information
Structure of the organization: TESEV is a foundation established in 1994 in accordance with the Turkish Civil Code. The foundation has 279 founding members at present.
TESEV’s members, at their General Assembly, elect a Body of 9 people, which in turn has created an Executive Board composed of four persons.
TESEV has an Executive Director and three Departments Directors. The Executive Director and the Department Directors make up the Executive Group. TESEV currently has 19 full time employees.
Budgetary resources available in a year: Between 01.01.2012 and 31.12.2012 the institution ran a budget of 1.287.169 Euros.
Sources of funding: Main financial donors in 2012 are Open Society Foundation Turkey, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, individual sponsors from Turkey, local and international grant making institutions.
Modalities of action: concrete research projects, seminars, conferences, publications and other dissemination activities
