Youth theatre “Alternativa” – Gorna Oriahovitza is a society of theatre-minded people and partisans of the culture. The activity of the theatre is connected with rationalization of the spare time of the people in Gorna Oriahovitza through the different theatre formations. In its activity the theatre uses classical theatre, ultraviolet and theatre of shadows, spectacles for children and intermedias, street theatre and stills. The youth group is the most urging section, because it develops the initiative of the young people in the town and the municipality and helps them. Since 2000 Youth theatre “Alternativa” works with “Youth” program, the World bank and the European Youth Fondation – Strasburg. After all exchanges that were made the theatre did gain an experience in its work and started helping its partners not only in the theatral activity but also with the ability to fulfit youth contacts. Since a few months the volunteer Alecsander Deiv is working with the theatre. Other visits of volunteers are planned, too.

Mission and Objectives

The work with international programs makes the possibilities for international contacts and information for the European society much higher. This way the main aims of the group are real facts – to build a connection between the professional and amateur sphere of personal appearance’ through realization of the spare time and to help with information, through communication, free exchanges of ideas and information, with activity and an example for better understanding of “other’s “ way of life.

The youth theatre " Alternative " is a volunteer youth formation for education in the area of the theatre and aims through the theatre to distribute positive aesthetic perceptions as well to direct the public opinion to important worldly problems.The theatre aims though acting and theatrical art to express the youth opinion on global questions such as pollution , drug abuse , violence , ect. The work with international programs makes the possibilities for international contacts and information for the European society much higher

Main Projects / Activities

EURODESK – project which introduces European organization – Youth network of European organizations with its center in Brussels. Keep up the spirit – socialization of children with less opportunities and their participation in theatre group YT “Alternative”. Keep up the spirit II – continuing of socialization of children with less opportunities trough experience. Friends forever – introduction in the knowledge of EU, its law and values on the level: leader – student. To build a bridge – Youth exchange with theatre group from Germany. Jump in the EU – fears and expectations – educational seminar in Warsaw (Poland). I the search of identity – training in Czech Krumlov – Czech republic. Good will for the volunteer – setting up of the volunteer’s club. Human rights of XXI century - seminar in Krakow (Poland). Personal development with theatre – sending a volunteer in Swedish theatre organization.

Annual meeting of Bulgarian Network of Anna Lindh Foundation

An annual meeting of the members of the Anna Lindh Foundation Bulgarian Network was held on 21-22 April 2023 in Sofia. The members had the opportunity to discuss the available resources for development and strategic trends with the Director of the Foundation Josep Ferre, which inspired them to undertake future initiatives. The meting also included a capacity building component. The topic of the training, which was proposed by the coordinator of the Network, Association “International Initiatives for Cooperation” (IIC), was "Basic principles of digital transformation in the NGO sector".

The 26 member organisations that were able to attend were very diverse in areas of activity and expertise, but at the same time united in their desire to learn, keep up with new trends and increase their capacity. The training was extremely useful and served to reinvigorate the Bulgarian Network of Anna Lindh Bulgaria network.

Speaker Justine Thoms, as usual so at ease, directed our attention in the right direction and helped us to select some of the basic digital tools, without which we cannot be up-to-date and attractive in our work and in visual communication with our target groups.

Градска библиотека "Паисий Хилендарски" е една от водещите културно-образователни институции на територията на Община Асеновград. Библиотеката е притегателен център за достъп до знания, информация и активно участие в обществения живот на всички граждани. Работи в посока укрепване, популяризиране и развитие на българската култура, идентичност и духовни ценности, както и интегриране на всички членове на общността в глобалното общество. Към библиотеката работят следните структурни звена: Детски отдел, Отдел за възрастни, Читалня, Отдел Изкуство, Комплектуване и обработка, Библиотечно-информациаонен център. Броят на служителите е 14. Финансирането се осъществява със средства от местния бюджет, като размерът на бюджета се одобрява от Общинския съвет Асеновград. Средно годишно библиотеката разполага с бюджет от 180 хил. лв. За реализиране на иновативни услуги,дейности и инициати се търсят допълнителни изтчници на финансиране- проекти и програми, дарения.

Към Градска библиотека е създаден Център за работа с доброволци, който е част от мрежата на Национален алианс за работа с доброволци.
Библиотеката е част от програмата "Глоб@лни библиотеки- България "на фондация "Бил и Мелинда Гейтс", чиято цел е превръщането и в място за комуникация, информация и социално включване.
Има изградено дългогодишно партньорство с Бюро по труда - Асеновград за предоставяне на услуги на безработни лица.
Градска библиотека е партньор на Уницеф - България в реализирането на програмата "Работилница за родители - Да пораснем заедно" , насочена към родители за стимулиране на ранното детско развитие.
Библиотеката работи по програма "По-близо до книгата" , съвмстно с Община Асеновград, която включва инициативи, свързани с насълчаване на четенето и грамотността. Тя включва програмите "Дни на книгата", "Ваканция в библиотеката" и др.

انتخب أعضاء الشبكة المبادرات الدولية لجمعية التعاون رئيسا للشبكة في عام 2008 و أُعيد انتخابها في يونيو 2013.

أنشأت الشبكة البلغارية لمؤسسة آنا ليند شراكات من خلال دعم مؤسسة آنا ليند مع جماعات المجتمع المدني في دول من بينها مصر وإسرائيل وفلسطين واسبانيا والمغرب وقبرص والأردن والجزائر وتركيا. ويتم تنسيق الشبكة بواسطة المبادرات الدولية لجمعية التعاون .

في اطار حملة مؤسسة آنا ليند '1001 عمل للحوار'، التي أُطلقت في عام 2008، حشدت الشبكة البلغارية العديد من الأعمال، و شاركت مع شبكات وطنية أخرى في مبادرات مشتركة. وبين هذه الشبكات، شاركت عضو شبكة أصدقاء أوروبا في تنظيم مجموعة من الحوارات والتبادلات مع الشباب من بلغاريا واليونان ورومانيا.

في عام 2009، لأجل مبادرة مؤسسة آنا ليند "استعادة الثقة وإعادة بناء الجسور"، قامت الشبكة بتنفيذ الأعمال الآتية: "دروس من أجل السلام"، والتي قدمتها مركز رابطة العالم المفتوح، وهو مشروع يجمع 12 متخصصا (المدرسين وعلماء النفس و المدربين بين الثقافات) لإنتاج كتيب عن طرق تدريس السلام في المدارس، ومشروع "ليكون يوما، ليكون سلام" ، الذي قدمه نادي اليونسكو - بلغاريا، والذي بعبر عن عمل الشباب من أجل تعزيز السلام والتفاهم في مجتمع محلي و شمل موكب و "مهرجان السلام" للأطفال والشباب من مختلف المجموعات العرقية بمناسبة "اليوم الدولي للسلام".

في عام 2010 ، أٌقيمت ورشة الكتابة الإبداعية "بحر من الكلمات" في صوفيا بمشاركة الكتاب الشباب من مختلف أنحاء المنطقة الذين فازوا أثناء المنافسة في كتابة القصة؛ أسفرت ورشة العمل عن إنتاج سلسلة من قصص جديدة بواسطة المشاركين والتي كان التركيز فيها على موضوع السلام والتعايش بين الثقافات.

We are proud to share information for one very significant project of our long-term network members “Bridges - Eastern European Forum for Dialogue”. The project has the name “Calligraphy. BG’’ and is a creative education project that focuses on the art of beautiful writing. The project was funded by National Fund "Culture" and has a duration of 10 months 27.09.2022. - 27.07.2023. “Calligraphy. BG’’ aimed to promotes authentic medieval Bulgarian calligraphy by involving three main groups of audiences: teachers, children and adolescents from 9 to 16 years old and representatives of local authorities. Within the project 4 Bulgarian schools from the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad (ABUCH) - in Dublin, Athens, Washington and Cyprus took part too. The Bulgarian partners also make a great contribution to the successful implementation of the project activities. Here are the main activities carried out under the project: the traveling photo exhibition, days of calligraphy, the three-day calligraphy training for teachers and children's workshops in Karlovo and Sopot, a competition for cards made by children.
