Hellenic Foundation for Culture is organizing a concert of Ukrainian and Greek traditional music by the bandura trio "Malva" (artistic director Nina Morozevich) and the orchestra "Estudiantina" of Nea Ionia (artistic director Andreas Katsigiannis).
The wonderful sound of the traditional musical instrument of Ukraine, together with the vocals of distinguished artists Nina Morozevich, Tetiana Vasilchiv and Galina Shukenych will join us in the intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine, while the "Estudiantina" orchestra will take us on a journey to the well-known sounds of Greek traditional music.
The partnership of Ukrainian and Greek musicians will result in us enjoying Ukrainian and Greek compositions.

The concert is part of the program of actions of the EUNIC network in Athens for the promotion of Ukrainian Cultural Heritage. The program is entitled UKRAINIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE UNDER THREAT and is implemented by the Hellenic Cultural Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Romania in Athens.
