A National Network activity will be organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation Network Member of Bosnia Post-Conflict Research Center (PCRC) in the Framework of the Anna Lindh Foundation Virtual Marathon for Dialogue in the EuroMed.

Young people are a source of resilience but are also the most important agents of change that Bosnia-Herzegowina so desperately needs. However, for them to play a constructive role in peacemaking processes, youth need encouragement and support. With all this in mind, specialized virtual programming for youth needs to be created. It will challenge the common narrative that youth in Bosnia-Herzegovina are apathetic and disinterested by presenting them with narratives and stories of youth activists from across the country, that are actively engaged in peacebuilding and conflict prevention activities.

This interactive panel discussion brings together five activists from Bosnia’s different ethnic groups actively engaged in peacebuilding and conflict prevention activities. The discussion aims to introduce participants to a wide range of opportunities for activism in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the region and how the youth activists have been coping with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
