Associate professor in sociology at INSHEA/Grhapes, associate member of the Emile Durkheim Center and MIGRINTER. Previously Rigoni has been Team leader of the EU Marie Curie Excellence Team 'Minority Media' hosted at Migrinter, University of Poitiers in France. She holds a PhD in political science from the University Paris 8 (France, 2000), and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Research in Ethnic Relations (University of Warwick, 2001-2003) and at the Centre Marc Bloch (Berlin, 2004-2005). She is currently working on social and school inclusion of minor migrants.
