The Network Strategic Development Scheme (NSDS) is a mechanism designed by the Foundation to support the Networks in their mission.
Under the slogan MEET TO EXCHANGE, the Anna Lindh Foundation organised a 2-day workshop with the DAWRAK-Exchange participants who are currently residing in Alexandria and Cairo on November 10 and 11, 2013. In addition to the participants, the workshop also opened the floor for public audience interested in the programme to get involved.
Co-edited by senior media practitioners from the Mediterranean region and Europe, the publication includes a range of good practices in journalist exchange and training.
The Tool-kit is aimed at providing practicing bloggers and civil society leaders working within the social media field, with training materials on promoting dialogue through blogging.
A regional initiative offering opportunities for Arab journalists to move to other Euro-Med countries to cover intercultural stories and learn from other journalistic practices in the region.
Call for applications
Journalists from the written press, television, radio and online media, citizens of the 42 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean, are invited to submit their work until 13 October 2017 to take part in the 10th edition of the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Awards. Submitted works should tackle intercultural issues between and within Euro-Mediterranean societies. Works could have been published in printed/online media, or broadcast on radio or television between 1 January 2017 and 27th September 2017.
The very first mapping study and programme on the current status and challenges of translation in the Mediterranean region, in partnership with Transeuropeenes.
Launched jointly with The British Council, ‘Young Med Voices’ is a regional debating programme equipping youth leaders with the skills and confidence to speak up and be heard.
Co-written by educators from the Mediterranean region and Europe, the Handbook includes guidance and practical case-studies on intercultural citizenship learning.
