Graffiti as a Form of Self Expression: A True Art or Vandalism?

Image
ebook

Organised by: Anna Lindh Foundation Czech Network

The project drew from the exhibition that was held from December 2021 to January 2022 and mapped selected street art across continents. In addition to the most famous European locations such as London, Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam, the places less typical for street art were covered.

The project's outcome is an e-book that uses evidence about graffiti art and looks at the various art techniques and compositions in different parts of the world. The e-book summarises the findings in an illustrative and colourful way and presents some perspectives on graffiti art as a part of youth self-expression. The e-book also aims to give an outlook to policymakers on how to deal with public spaces.
