Ireland

Ireland’s ALF Network currently comprises 60 member organisations with a good geographical spread. Broadly speaking they can be classified as arts organisations, educational establishments, youth organisations, interfaith organisations and organisations promoting peace and reconciliation.

The Vision 

Hungary

The ALF Hungarian Network currently counts 67 members, including civil society organisations, foundations, associations, museums, schools, universities, and other institutions working in the field of intercultural dialogue or representing the values of the foundation in their work. The network members are spread nationwide in the cities of Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Kecskemét, Szolnok, Nagyvázsony, and Nyíregyháza, enriching with their hard work the Hungarian society.

Greece

The Greek Network of the ALF was created in 2005 and currently counts for 128 institutions of civil society organisations and other relevant institutions, working in many different fields, from all parts of Greece.

The Hellenic Foundation for Culture is the Head of the Greek National Network and the United Societies of Balkans is the Co-head of the Network, which was appointed as such and endorsed by popular vote. In order to function more efficiently and better coordinate members at the local level, focal points, based on geographic location, were introduced.

Germany

The ALF Network in Germany collaborated in large scale cross-cultural dialogue programmes with civil society partners in countries including Egypt, Finland, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Sweden and Türkiye.

France

At present, the French network comprises over 90 members, all civil-society organisations that operate in the area of intercultural dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Finland

The main objective of the Finnish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation is to support dialogue between cultures and to contribute to the visibility of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership through intellectual, cultural and civil society exchanges.

Egypt

The vision of the Egyptian ALF National Network is to promote cultural dialogue between Egypt and others in the Anna Lindh Network for Dialogue between Cultures and to be a platform for exchanging experiences and networking in the fields of development and rights within the framework of common human values based on international and national human rights standards.

The Egyptian Network now has 90 civil society member organisations from all over Egypt.

Czech Republic

The Anna Lindh Foundation National Network in the Czech Republic connects civil society organisations and citizens to build trust and improve mutual understanding. The Head of the National Network is the Institute of International Relations (IIR), which works in the field of international relations, including the area of the Balkans, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and North Africa as well as the Sub-Saharan Africa. These areas are studied mainly in relation to the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy.

Cyprus

The Anna Lindh Foundation Cyprus Network engages civil society organisations and other entities within the island in local, national, and regional cross-cultural cooperation and learning. Established in 2005, the growing Cyprus Network counts over 50 members, reflecting the diversity of the Cypriot civic space and including members that are civil society organisations, private and public entities, research centres, and informal groups.
